The Sacramento International Airport is, by far, the nearest and most accessible option for those traveling to the area by air. Other options will add considerable ground travel time, expense, and complexity to your trip, even if the airfare seems at first glance to save money.
Note on Special Activities Transportation
There will be a chauffeured ride service form UC Davis to the ARK 2000 tour location in San Andreas, CA included in registration costs (10 AM departure, 4 PM return). Transportation will not be provided to the California Raptor Center, which is located on the UC Davis campus but about 1.7 miles (30 minute walk, 8 minute bike ride) from the conference location.
There is a Yolo Bus connection from the airport to the heart of the UC Davis Campus, and the UC Davis campus/city buses are generally $1 per ride to any destination along lines: Further information on Yolo Bus. Further information on Davis Unitrans.
